WHEAT INDUSTRY
INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rome, April 10. The International Wheat Conference appointed a sub-committee to draft a tentative scheme for the increase in wheat prices. A communique says that the expectation that when an agreement was reached world prices would improve has not been realized; on the other hand prices are lower, and in the Far East rice is higher in price than wheat.
