Health In The Home
By a Family Doctor. “You know, doctor, all these Christmas and New Year festivities have done me no end of good. I have been overeating and drinking more than I usually do. I have been up dancing till all hours of the night and going without sxxfficient sleep—and yet I feel all the better for it!” These remarks were addressed to me by an acquaintance I met in the train. The tone seemed just a little hostile, as much as to suggest that it just showed the futility of the orthodox medical opinion. But actually I am in complete agreement with my friend. There is no better' tonic than the occasional loosening up of the reins of discipline. Especially in these hard times of over-work and worry an occasional break makes all the difference. The only point is that the occasional must not be allowed to develop into the usual!
