UNEMPLOYMENT FIGURES.
(United Pre:- Assn— Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) Geneva, January 5. The International Labour Office reports that 20 countries, including Britain, the United States, Australia, Canada, the Irish Free State, Germany, Japan and Chile, show an encouraging decrease in unemployment for the last quarter of 1933 compared with 1932, while unemployment increased in Bulgaria, Czechoslovakia, New Zealand, Norway, Poland and Palestine.
