Sir John Simon states that he is highly satisfied with the excellent work accomplished as a result of his conversations with Signor Mussolini. The views of Britain and Italy coincided on the more important matters, especially regarding disarmament. It is understood that no decisions were reached, but that the viewpoints were clarified. The proposals for revising the League of Nations will be discussed on Thursday. The Italian view is that the League Covenant should be freed from the fetters of the Peace Treaty.
