SEA SPIDER
SPECIMEN WITH TWELVE LEGS. Most spiders, both on land and sea, have eight legs, but 100 years ago a ten-legged sea-spider was found off South Georgia, and since then other specimens have been taken. Now a sea-spider with six pairs of legs has been discovered by Sir Douglas Mawson who, during his recent Antarctic expedition, captured a specimen at a denth of 1200 ft.
