MADRAS CYCLONE

HUNDRED LIVES LOST, (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright ) (Rec. 9.25 p.m.) Calcutta, December 19. A hundred were killed in the cyclone in Madras Presidency during the weekend and the damage is estimated at nearly £BO,OOO. Thousands of cattle perished. A train overturning in a gale near Chidambaram station killed 28 persons. The Italian steamer Felce is now reported safe.
