OBITUARY

ADMIRAL VON INGENOHL. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, December 19. The death is announced of Admiral Friedrich von Ingenohl.

Admiral von Ingenohl was born at Neuwied in 1857 and entered the German navy In 1874, reaching the rank of captain in 1902. After commanding various vessels, in 1904 he was placed in charge of the Kaiserin Augusta, the yacht of Wilhelm. 11. and in 1908 he was promoted to be viceadmiral. In 1913 he was commander-in-chlef of the High Seas Fleet and was removed from this position after the Battle of the Dogger Bank on January 24, 1915. MR JOSEPH BUTTERS.
