SENTENCES AT IVELLINGTON. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, December 19. Prisoners were sentenced to-day by Mr Justice MacGregor, as follows: . Joe Hoe, for attempting to obtain £l5O from a bookmaker at Palmerston North by false pretences, six months imprisonment. Arthur de Vine, for theft as a servant by failing to account for £lO2 10/- to Smith, Wylie and Co., 18 months’ imprisonment. Gi’lie- Francis Nicole, theft of Lba 8/5 from his employers, Fashions Ltd., nine months’ imprisonment. Arthur Oliver, indecent assault on a female child, convicted and ordered to come up for sentence within two years if called. Harry Collins, theft from a dwelling in Palmerston North, 18 months imprisonment. Edward Reginald Burt, for bigamy, six months’ imprisonment.
