SERVICES RESTORED
“FRIENDLY ROAD” ORGANIZATION.
(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, December 20. The restoration of the “Friendly Road” radio services, conducted by the Rev. C. G. Scrimgeour (Uncle Scrim) and Mr T. T. Garland (Uncle Tom) has been permitted by the Government. , . , Advice to this effect having been received by the Rev. Scrimgeour from the Postmaster-General, the services will be recommenced, probably on New Year’s Eve, from B station IZB, which has been acquired by the ‘Friendly Road” organization. Other programmes will also be broadcast by former IZR personalities.
