BUSHMAN IN COURT

CHARGE OF ATTEMPTED THEFT.

(Per United Press Association.) Auckland, December 20.

The third man suspected of being implicated in an .attempt to steal petrol and oil from a store at Henderson on Monday night appeared in the Police Court to-day. His name is Dennis Hoev, aged 29, a bushman. “I doubt whether he wants to be shot at by Dalmatians any more,” said his counsel when bail was mentioned. The Magistrate: If he wants petrol and oil for nothing, he has got to risk that. Accused w r as remanded, bail being allowed.
