CHEAP EXCURSION TICKETS to GORE (available to 27th December) will be issued from stations Invercargill to Clinton, also from stations on Waimea Plains Branch by morning trains. Special tickets from Gore to Gore 'Racecourse : 1/6 first or second class. Tickets other than these special tickets will not be available by either ordinary or special trains between Gore and Gore Racecourse. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. Additional trains will run as follows:— Leave INVERCARGILL for GORE.— ‘7.I2 a.m., 9.15 a.m., 10.5 a.m. (stops Woodlands, Edendale, Mataura and Gore Racecourse only) and 5.32 p.m. 'Only the 7.12 a.m. train runs through to Clinton. Leave Gore for Invercargill 8.10 a.m., 3.5 p.m., 5.30 p.m. (Racecourse 6.0 p.m. Stops Racecourse, Mataura, Edendale, Woodlands, Elies Road only) also 6.26 p.m. Leave Dunedin for Gore Racecourse 7.45 a.m. Leave Gore for Clinton 10.10 a.m., 6.10 p.m. Leave Clinton for Gore 8.5 a.m., 10.27 a.m., 2.50 p.m. Leave Gore for Dunedin 6.55 p.m. Leave Gore for Racecourse 11.22 a.m. and 12.3 p.m. (mail train). Trains for Riverton leave Invercargill 8.25 a.m., 8.55 (to Tuatapere), 9.45 (stops Makarewa only), 10.10 (stops Waikiwi and Lomeville), 10.40 (stops Grassmere, Waikiwi, Lomeville and Thornbury only), 11.30 a.m. (stops Waikiwi, Lomeville, Linds Bridge, Makarewa and Waianiwa only), and 3.55 p.m. (to Tuatapere). Train for Lumsden leaves Invercargill 5.15 p.m. (connects at Makarewa with 4.50 p.m. Riverton-Invercargill train), Winton 6.30 p.m., Centre Bush 6.53 p.m. LIMEHILLS SPORTS. Train for Limehills sports leaves Invercargill 10.20 a.m., Centre Bush arrive 11.35 a.m. Return train leaves Centre Bush 4.55 p.m., arrives Invercargill 6.20 pun. Both trains stop at level crossing near sports ground. DUNEDIN RACES, 26th and 27th DECEMBER. Special tickets to Dunedin will be issuable on 26th and 27th December, available for return to 29th December, from Invercargill and stopping stations by 7.0 a.m. express. The 7.0 a.m. Invercargill-Lyttelton and 4.40 p.m. Dunedin-Invercargill express trains will stop at Wingatui for passengers. On 25th and 26th December all Goods sheds will be closed. TAPANUI BRANCH.— On Thursday, 28th December, the usual 9.0 a.m. Waipahi-Edievale train will run later, leaving Waipahi 11.45 a.m., arrives Edievale 2.1 p.m. WINTON RACES—29th DECEMBER. Special train stopping at Winton Racecourse leaves Invercargill 10.25 a.m., arrives Racecourse 11.25 a.m. Usual 4.2 p.m. Lumsden-Invercargill train leaves Winton Racecourse 5.50 p.m., Winton 6.3 p.m., arrives Invercargill 6.55 p.m. Special train stopping where required leaves Winton 7.0 p.m., arrives Invercargill 8.3 p.m. GREENHILLS-BLUFF ATHLETIC SPORTS AT BLUFF. Additional passenger train leaves Invercargill for Bluff at 10.40 a.m. Usual 5.10 p.m. Bluff-Invercargill train leaves Bluff 5.32 p.m. SATURDAY, 30th DECEMBER. On Saturday, 30th December, the usual 9.0 a.m. Waipahi-Edievale train Will run later, leaving Waipahi 11.45 a.m. SUNDAY, 31st DECEMBER.
