SURVIVORS REACH SHORE.

(United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 1.10 a.m.) Halifax (Nova Scotia), December 17. The four men missing from the schooner Ellen Marshall have reached shore.

A previous message stated: Fire broke out suddenly on Friday night and burned the Gloucester (Massachusetts) fishing schooner Ellen T. Marshall to the water’s edge off Cape Sable (Nova Scotia). Nineteen of the crew of 26 were saved, including Captain Albert Hines, of Boston. Eight men were picked up by the Danish steamer Bars Kruse. Eleven reached the shore in dories after battling with the wind and sea. Three were drowned when a dory capsized as they attempted to beach the craft. One dory is believed to contain the remaining four members of the crew still unaccounted for.
