GIFT EVENING. (From Our Correspondent.) On Tuesday evening, December 5, Miss I. Crengle was the guest of honour at an enjoyable evening arranged TH, .b e ™ sldents of Longwood and mm i, ’tU?? evening was held in the -ihaka Hall. During the evening songs were contributed by Messrs Wixon and Belsham, while Mr Ryan (Granity) ’ e a recitation. At a suitable interval Mr Nuttal, congratulated Miss Crengle and Mr Lapham on their approaching marriage and wished them every prosperity and happiness. He then called upon Mr M.
