COLAC BAY NOTES
KITCHEN EVENING. (From Our Correspondent.) On Saturday, November 2, a kitchen evening was tendered to Miss Irene Crengle in honour of her approaching marriage to Mr G. Lapham, of Tihaka. Mr H. Spear, in making the presentation of the gifts, referred to the sterling qualities of the guest of honour. Mrs C. Ward endorsed Mr Spear’s remarks and Mr Lapham suitably replied. Music for the dancing was supplied by Mr J. D. Gregg, while extras were given by Miss Tassie Goodwillie (Tihaka). Songs were contributed by Miss T. Wixon and Mr J. Wixon. Mr D. Wadsworth was M.C. Amongst those present were: Mesdames Crengle (sen.), Crengle (jun.), Patterson, Wadsworth, Egerton, Broomhall, J. Dawson, C. Ward, Pont, J. H.
