UNEMPLOYMENT BILL
DEBATE IN COMMONS. LABOUR INTERRUPTIONS. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7 p.m.) London, December 6. In the House of Commons the Unemployment Bill was read a second time by 435 votes to 81. Mr George Lansbury was the last Opposition speaker in the debate to which Mr R. Hudson responded. Labourites greeted Mr Hudson with loud cries of “Where is the Prime Minister?” and “He’s a coward!” from Mr Seymour Cocks. The Deputy Speaker reprimanded Mr Cocks, and Mr Hudson was eventually allowed to conclude the debate.
