RABBIT BOARD

NEW RIVER HUNDRED. The monthly meeting of the New River Hundred Rabbit Board was held at Waianiwa on Monday evening when Mr C. P. Dalrymple presided over the following members: Messrs C. Donald, D. Macpherson, T. Millar and T. McKenzie. Reports from the rabbiters disclosed the fact that during the month of November 10,159 rabbits had been caught in traps and dug out of burrows. One ton of poison was laid by the rabbiters in the last two months. During the next four weeks farmers who desire to lay poison on their own properties may procure a supply from the members of the board.
