Tennis Dance

The Federal was en fete on Thursday evening when the Invercargill Tennis Club held their annual dance. A ballet, organized by J'Jiss Beattie and Mr R. Smith, consisting of Misses Stead, D. Williamson, R. Davis, M. Beattie, J. Scandrett and D. Willett, who wore short check gingham frocks and tennis shades, was much enjoyed. Mr Smith’s and Miss Beattie’s step dance was also a definite success. The Footwarmers’ Orchestra supplied bright music.
