EXPORT OF APPLES

SINGLE AGENCY SYSTEM

CONDEMNED.

(Per United Press Association.) Nelson, November 29. A largely-attended meeting of the Hills Fruitgrowers’ Union, representing the largest apple exporting district in the Dominion, severely condemned the single agency system of marketing and called upon the Control Board to revert to the system of selling by a full panel of brokers. The meeting condemned the system of pooling the proceeds and asked for the rendering of individual account sales. The Redwoods Valley Association also passed a resolution against the system of a single broker.
