FLOW CHECKED

NEW ZEALAND IMPORTS. CHAMBER OF COMMERCE VIEWS. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland, November 30. On the ground that the anticipated revision of the tariff is checking the flow of imports, the Chamber of Commerce has again asked the Minister of Customs when the report of the Tariff Commission will be considered and given effect by Parliament. In a letter the chamber says that any curtailment of imports is likely to increase the Government’s problem with regard to funds accumulating in Lonnon. It would be helpful if an early announcement could be made of the probable date of the Tariff Commission’s report.
