MISSING AVIATOR
SEARCH FOR LANCASTER. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Paris, October 26. Thirty aeroplanes under General Vuallenin, who took part in the previous search for Captain Lancaster, start another exploration of the Sahara desert on November 3. The London Daily Express revived the possibility that Captain Lancaster, who left to fly to the Cape on April 12, may still be alive in a remote spot in the Senegal district of the Sahara, living among half-savage tribesmen as one of themselves. A French transport company says there is no doubt that a white man is living in those parts, but whether it is Captain Lancaster is not known, though it was reported that a white man landed in an aeroplane months ago. Captain Lancaster - was attempting to break the record from London to Cape Town, but was not heard of after he left Oran.
