ALLEGED THEFT

COMPANY MANAGER CHARGED. (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Sydney, October 12. Horace John Algar, aged 42, company manager, was charged in the Central Court with stealing £143 3/6 from Raymond Swanger and others at Wellington. Algar was arrested on board the Wanganella. The Court made an order for the defendant to be handed over in custody for return to New Zealand.
