WORLD ECONOMICS

FURTHER CONSULTATIONS. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, September 26. In accordance with the arrangement made at the adjournment of the World Economic Conference that there should be consultations, Dr Colijn, the Prime Minister of the Netherlands, visited No. 10 Downing Street yesterday afternoon and was in conversation with Mr MacDonald for two' hours on the general economic situation. An early resumption of the conference is unlikely, but the newspapers suggest the possibility that some sub-committees of the Economic Commission of the conference may be convened to continue their work.
