PLANE CRASHES

DEATH OF PASSENGER THE BLENHEIM ACCIDENT INQUEST ADJOURNED (Per United Press Association.) Blenheim, September 25. Edgar Maindonald, of Reefton, who was injured in yesterday’s air crash, died at an early hour this morning. Cummings passed a good night but apart from his other injuries he is sufering severely from shock. Maindonald, who was 29 years of age, was a well-known Reefton resident. He leaves a widow and three children, the eldest being five years and the youngest eleven months. The other passenger, Bert Cummings, who is a motor driver, was residing at Ikamatua Hotel, Ikamatua, near Reef ton, and not at Wakefield as previously announced. The inquest was opened this morning and adjourned sine die to await Cummings’ evidence.
