OUTRAGE IN BELFAST
FATHER AND SON FIRED AT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) London, September 22. Three men fired five shots at a man named Newall and his son James at Belfast, and then escaped in a motor car driven by a woman. The father’s macintosh was pierced in two places yet he escaped injury. Last year two armed men raided Newall’s house and refused to recognize a sentence of 18 months passed by the Antrim Court as they were soldiers of the Irish Republican Army.
