Slightly easier prices for shipment. Auction will be held on August 30. , , Hemp: Manila—market quiet. K grade for September-November shipment £l5 10/-. Sisal.—Market quiet, but firm. Value of No. 1 for September-October shipment £lB 5/-. New Zealand market unchanged. Eggs: Market firm with upward tendency. English—National pack, 15/- to 18/6; English, ordinary pack, 15/6; Danish, 11/6 to 14/6; Australian, 151 b per long hundred, cleared 12/- to 12/6. Fruit: Market slow. Prices for New Zealand apples are:—Granny Smith 15/-; Dougherty, 8/6 to 9/6; Cleopatra and Brighton, 7/6 to 8/6; Delicious, Statesman, Tasma, Rome Beauty and McLivers, 7/- to 8/-; Sturmer and McMahon’s White, 6/6 to 7/6; Dunn’s and Ballarat, 5/- to 6/-; Scarlet Nonpariel, 5/-.
