N.Z. LEGION
POLICY MATTERS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, July 24. “The Ltgion has no policy in the ordinary sense, unless the plea for Government reform finally adopted can be called one,” state the headquarters of the New Zealand Legion in the course of a statement issued to-night. “The Legion wishes to emphasize that however widely its candidates for Parliament may differ on economic questions, this will be no bar to their being supported by the Legion if they are considered qualified in other respects and have as their platform, necessity for the reform of the present system of government.”
