FORTUNE INHERITED
HOUSEKEEPER IN SCOTLAND,

Mr David Guthrie Dunn, 8.A., of Knock Castle, Largs, Ayrshire, Scotland, who was accidentally drowned at sea between Cape Town and St. Helena on March 8, left £1,228,000, and the death duties amount to £491,000. The sole beneficiary is Mrs Agnes Stevens, housekeeper of his seat at Knock Castle for twenty years. Mr Dunn, who was 26 years of age, was the last of his line. His ■ elder brother was drowned within sight of Knock Castle when a rowing boat was caught in a squall and collapsed. The Dunns were connected with the Smiths, Scottish tobacco manufacturers.
