LINDBERGHS OFF TO GREENLAND.
(United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Cartwright, July 21. Colonel and Mrs Lindbergh hopped off to-day for Greenland, but after flying for two hours landed at Hopedale (Labrador), 150 miles up the coast, owing to fog.
FLIGHT BY SIR ALAN COBHAM.
(United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 6.30 p.m.) London, July 21. Sir Alan Cobham has arranged to leave on a return flight to Australia in the second week in October. He has completed secret refuelling plans and is contemplating a non-stop flight from Darwin to either Sydney or Melbourne. The machine withstood all tests. WOODS AT KARACHI.
