UNFORTUNATE ERROR
CHARGE OF MANSLAUGHTER FOLLOWS. (Per United Press Association.) Auckland. July 17. As a sequel to the death from strychnine poisoning of Charles Boddy, aged 53, after he drank a preparation which he believed to be Slippery Elm bark, George Alexander Rowson, aged 30, was charged in the Police Court with manslaughter. Evidence is being given on the lines of that at the inquest at which the Coroner found that a most unfortunate error had been made in making up the preparation in the warehouse.
