PRINCE OF WALES

FLYING TRIP ABANDONED.

(British Official Wireless.)

(Rec. 5.5 p.m.) Rugby, July 13. Heavy rain and wind prevented the Prince of Wales completing a flight from Windsor to Weymouth, where this afternoon he opened the naw harbour works. In his private machine, piloted by Captain E. H. Ficlden, he had reached Swanage, near Bournemouth, when bad weather necessitated the abandonment of the flight and continuation of the journey by road. A perfect landing was made in a wheat field.
