FEDERAL SENATE
VOTE AGAINST GOVERNMENT. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Canberra, June 29. The Government was defeated again in the Senate by 22 votes to 7 on a motion requesting that the duty in the tariff schedule on foreign film imported for the purpose of copying be reduced. Thirteen United Australian Party senators voted against the Government.
