FIDELITY BOND

FALSE REPRESENTATIONS ALLEGED.

Auckland, June 19.

Arrested on warrant, Joseph Huddleston, aged 26, described as an accountant, alias Joseph Oppenheim, alias Bernard Lowbath Eweskey, appeared in the Police Court charged with being a rogue and a vagabond in that on January 31 he imposed on F. K. Holden and obtained £4 17/6 by falsely representing that the money was for a fidelity bond in the firm of J. Oppenheim and Co., bankers of Auckland. He was remanded until the 26th.
