FAMOUS MAORI CHOIR
RETURN VISIT NEXT WEEK. By special request it has been arranged for the Rev. A. J. Seamer’s famous Methodist Maori Choir to pay a return visit to Invercargill and to present two of its popular programmes in the Civic Theatre next week. This group of talented artistes is unique in several respects, but chiefly in that it is composed of a number of prominent Maori families, is representative of all the greater Maori tribes, and is unsurpassed in its representation of Maori customs, etc., while the presentation of Maori music and pastimes has won the highest compliments from the keenest critics. The part singing and chorus singing of the choir is a revelation and one marvels at the wonderfully varied character of the programme with every item outstanding in its own class.
