NO CORRUPTION
MILK INQUIRY ENDS OPERATION OF SYDNEY BOARD COMMISSION’S FINDING (United Press Assn—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 11.10 p.m.) Sydney, June 12. The Royal Commissioner, Mr Shand, K.C., whose inquiry into the operation of the Milk Board occupied several months, has presented his report in which he finds no evidence substantiating any improper or corrupt practices. There was no evidence of any undue influence having been used to have certain appointments made to the board. On the contrary he states that, having regard to the great difficulties of controlling the milk supply of a great city, the commissioner is satisfied that every member of the board endeavoured honestly and successfully to perform the duties imposed by the Milk Act.
