THE PERIODICALS
In the April issue of Short Stories, Jackson Gregory continues his serial, “High Mesa,” a Western romance in which impersonation plays a part. Garnett Radcliffe’s “The Lucky Man” is a story of action on the North-west frontier’ of India. “The Head” is set in the Celibes and deals with the head-hunt-ers. Mexico supplies the scene for “Jawbone Kelly,” who has a lively part in a revolution, while “The Slayer” by Henry G. Lamond is an excellent story about Red Dog Dingo in Australia.
