HOCKEY
HOKONUI CLUB. The annual meeting of the Hokonui Hockey Club (Gore) was held on Thursday evening, Mr A. Taylor presiding over an attendance of 12. The annual report and balance-sheet, were adopted. The election of officers resulted as follows: President, Mr A. D. Crawford; vice-presidents, Messrs R. Hanning, H W. Pascoe, Wayte, S. Donaldson, C. L. King, R. W. Noake and last year’s list: secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Taylor: delegates, Misses K. Bond and M. Nichol; committee, Misses M. Peterson, J. Wayte, M. Nicol, J. McGill and A Taylor; coaches, Messrs H. W. Pascoe, R. Hanning and K. Kershaw’; captain. Miss M. Nicol; vice-captain, Miss Wayte. It was decided to nominate one senior team. Two new members, Misses K. Bond and M. Peterson, were elected.
