ANTARCTIC VOYAGE
BYRD’S NEXT EXPEDITION.

October next is now the date set down for the starting of Admiral Richard E. Byrd’s second South Pole expedition. For the past few months he has been actively engaged in the work of the Economy League which he will continue until he leaves for the Antarctic. Meanwhile, his assistants are making arrangements, selecting dogs, and gathering supplies. The coastguard cutter Bear will be the ship used and one tri-motored aeroplane will be taken.
