SANDERS CUP. TWO RACES SAILED. (Per United Press Association.) Christchurch, February 2, Both contests in the Sanders Cup series to-day provided good races. The morning race was won by Avenger (Canterbury) which led almost from the start. Idler (Auckland) was second, Imin llsec behind, Avalon (Otago) third a few seconds later and Lavina (Wellington) nearly six minutes later. In the afternoon Lavina (Wellington) secured her second win in a most exciting race. Avalon was second 21 sec behind. Avenger (Canterbury) was 19scc back and Idler (Auckland), Isec behind Avenger.
