The ketches Lily and Rakiura left for Stewart Island yesterday morning. The Federal Line steamer Cornwall Is now due at Port Chalmers to-morrow from Liverpool, via northern ports. The vessel has a large quantity of Home cargo for discharge there. Cabled advice has been received that the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor ship Opawa left Liverpool on January 21 for Auckland. Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland about February 28. Tire Shaw, Savill steamer Kia Ora is scheduled to leave Liverpool on February 11 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, in nlace of the Mahana. The Port Fremantle, which left Auckland on December 14, for London, via Cape Horn, arrived at London on January 20. The Haurakl. from Los Angeles, via Papeete. is due at Auckland on February 3. The vessel has cargo from Pacific coast ports for discharge at Auckland. Wellington. New Plymouth, Lyttelton. Dunedin, Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. The Government motor ship Maui Pomare, from Apia and Niue Island, is due at Lyttelton this morning and at Wellington tomorrow. She will leave Wellington later the same day for Apia and Niue. The Shaw. Savill and Albion steamer Matakana is reported to have left Cape Town, en route from Liverpool to Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on February 19. A telegram from Wellington states that the Shaw. Savill and Albion Company's liner Akaroa, which is en route from London to New Zealand, has been fixed to load at Lvttelton. Port Chalmers. Auckland and Wellington. The Akaroa will sail finally from Wellington on March 8 for Southampton and London. The Commonwealth and Dominion Line motor ship Port Gisborne is reported to have reached New York on January 20 from England. After loading for New Zealand the vessel is scheduled to clear New York to-day for Auckland, Wellington. Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland about March 1.
The Japanese steamer Ryoka Maru was to leave Japan on January 25 for Auckland. Port Chalmers. Lyttelton and Wellington to load scrap metal for Japan. She is scheduled to reach Auckland about February 12. The vessel is to bring a crew for the former Union Company’s steamer Waitemata, .which has been sold to the Japanese and is anchored in Auckland Harbour.

McKenzie, who has been on leave at Sydney, has joined the Monowai as third officer, relieving Mr L. B. Ehlert for holidays.
