TOKIO MUNICIPAL WORKERS. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 9.50 p.m.) Tokio, October 25. The Traffic Workers’ Union has called a strike in connection with the municipal tramways and motor-bus service to-morrow. Efforts at a compromise have failed. During the week the police arrested scores of agitators and mobilized 10,000 to guard the carsheds. The authorities are hopeful they will be able to maintain the services with emergency operatives.
