SHOT BY HUSBAND
FAMOUS PRIMA DONNA. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) Berlin, October 24. The famous prima donna, Fraulein Gertrude Bindernagel, was leaving a theatre accompanied by her mother and two sisters after singing as Brunnhilde, when her husband, Wilhelm Hintze, who was standing on the stairs, fired a revolver fatally wounding her. Hintze attempted to commit suicide but the revolver mis-fired. Hintze was formerly the proprietor of a wellknowi) bank which failed last year.
