BRITISH LABOUR PARTY
DECLINE IN MEMBERSHIP. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 9.30p.m.) London, September 28. The annual report of the executive of the Labour Party, prepared for the conference at Leicester next week, shows a continuous decline in membership since 1920. The affiliated membership of the party, including trade unions, is at present 2,062,042 compared with 4,359,807 in 1920.
