OIL CONTRACT
RUSSIA AND JAPAN. (United Press Assn.—Telegraph Copyright.) (Rec. 7 p.m.) London, September 27. A message from Kovno (Lithuania) following the completion of the benzine eohtract between Japan and the Soviet states that the Soviet has decided to renew its proposal for a pact of non-aggression towards Japan. It is also Stated that the Soviet is willing to make a similar pact With ManchUkuo after a solution of questions affecting Russian interests. Mr Molottoff described the oil contract as relieving the Far Eastern tension.
