GORSE v. BROOM.
To the Editor.
Sir,—Visitors along Moulson street and Brown street may be charmed with the flowers of gorse and broom, but not the ratepayers living near who clean their properties of the rubbish. In walking around the centre of the city I see over doors, inspector this and that; but why is it that nothing is done in the matter until someone calls attention to it through the Press? It is generally those people who can afford to get it done who don’t until forced. I say again it is not fair to those who clean their properties of gorse, etc. —I am, etc.
RATEPAYER.
