THE ABATTOIRS

JUNE RETURNS. The manager of the city abattoirs reported to the Oily Council last evening that the following stock were slaughtered at the city abattoirs during 'the month of June as compared with the corresponding month last year.

There were condemned five cows, one ox and ten sheep. The stock slaughtered during the month were prime and good quality. The dues for June, 1931, were £340 0/6, and for June, 1932, £2BO 4/101.
