LINDRUM BEATS NEWMAN. (United Press Assn. —By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 11.15 p.m.) Toronto, March 12. Lindrum defeated Newman in the six day match ending on Saturday night. Lindrum scored 12,188 and Newman (receives 3500) 10,890. McCONACHY BEATS DAVIS. (Rec. 12.30 a.m.) London, March 12. The result of the billiards match was: McConachy 20,380, Davis 18,523. McCONACHY BREAKS WORLD’S RECORD. (Rec. 5.5 p.m.) London, March 11. McConachy created a world’s record today of 464 nursery cannons which were included in a break of 1030, almost achieving his ambition of making 1000 by cannons. . A further break of 622 brought his score to 18,890. Davis has scored 16,776.
