SHEARING DELAYED. (From Our Correspondent.) Pleasant summer weather is being experienced at present and the district is looking exceptionally well. Grass is abundant everywhere and the turnip and oat crops look promising. Shearing operations have been delayed on account of the broken weather, but growers do not seem eager to market their clips under the present ruling ■prices. Now that the first drafts of lambs have been taken off their mothers, the shearing of the ewes will be pushed on with. Mr A. Herron recently sent away a very prime line of 480 fat lambs taken from a total of 850; the majority- being .Southdown cross. Cricket.
