CRICKET AT HOBART
WIN TO SOUTH AFRICANS. CHRISTY SCORES CENTURY. (United Press Assn.—By Telegraph—Copyright.) (Rec. 11 p.m.) Hobart, January 18. The cricket match between Tasmania and South Africa was concluded to-day. Tasmania's second innings closed at 262 made in 245 minutes. South Africa needed 224 to win which was accomplished with a loss of seven wickets. Christy made 108 not out in 159 minutes. He hit five fours. Morkcl scored 64, including one six and seven fours, in 52 minutes. Dalton was unable to field. He is still suffering from an injured jaw as the result of being struck by a ball. Scores:— TASMANIA.
