BOUGHT SMUGGLED TOBACCO.
“I got taken in badly the other day,’’ said Alf. “This time it was tobacco. A sailory looking fellow told me he had just smuggled some extra good tobacco oS the boat. Even though it cost me twice as much as I generally pay, I thought I’d bought a bargain till I found out that it was Luxury tobacco the sailor had sold me. I didn’t mind so much paying double for Luxury—it’s worth it anyway—but I was mad at being “had” so easily. Take my advice—don’t buy tobacco from strangers! Buy it from tobacconists!” Luxury positively will not burn the tongue. Barlow Bros., Christchurch, N.Z. Distributors.— Advt.
