THE SESSION
DURATION PROBABLY TWO MONTHS. (Per United Press Association.) Wellington, June 23. The Prime Minister, the Rt. Hon. G. W. Forbes, indicated to-day that he did not expect the session to last more than two months. The legislative programme will be unusually small. It is intended to give the portfolio of Transport at present held by the Hon. W. B. Taverner to the Hon. W. A. Veitch, whose responsibilities as Minister of Raib ways will be much lightened by the constitution of the Railway Board. He will sponsor the Transport Bill this session.
